Recharges via credit card are available with Visa, MasterCard and DC cards issued in Japan.
Please sign in to My Account and click on Online Payment. For payments with credit card issued overseas, please use the PayPal method.
AUTOMATIC RECHARGE OPTION
For your convenience, you may set the automatic recharge option which sets the system to automatically recharge your Brastel Card when its balance reaches less than ¥500. The recharge amount can be set at ¥2,000, ¥3,000, ¥5,000 or ¥10,000.
- Credit card payments are available only via My Account.
- For security reasons, credit card recharges have a daily limit of ¥10,000, and a weekly limit of ¥20,000. This limit can be increased upon request and verification. To increase the limit, please contact customer service.
- Credit card recharges are not eligible for payment bonuses. Payment bonuses are only rewarded for single payments of ¥5,000 or ¥10,000 at convenience stores.
- Recharges made with credit cards can only be used for placing calls.
- Automatic recharge option will only be trigged when your Brastel Card's balance reaches less than ¥500 after placing a call. Other operations will not set off the option.
- If the automatic recharge process fails due to credit card expiration or credit insufficiency, the automatic recharge option will be deactivated.
PayPal
To recharge your Brastel Card via PayPal, please sign in to My Account, click on Online Payment and follow the instructions.
You will be requested to create an account in PayPal to allow you recharge your Brastel Card.
PayPal payments with credit card issued overseas also available.
- PayPal payments are available only via My Account.
- For security reasons, payments have a daily limit of ¥10,000, and a weekly limit of ¥20,000.
- The first payment via PayPal will take up to two business days to be processed. Please note that within this two-business-day period, you will not be able to make additional PayPal payments for the same Brastel Card.
- PayPal recharges are not eligible for payment bonuses. Payment bonuses are only rewarded for single payments of ¥5,000 or ¥10,000 at convenience stores.

About Smart Pit system activation
At Lawson, you must use the Loppi terminal to print a Smart Pit payment order. The first time you make a Smart Pit payment, or if you have not used your card for a period of three months, you will need to activate your card's Smart Pit system before printing the payment order.

The preselected payment amount is ¥2,000.
The payment amount can be changed to ¥5,000 or ¥10,000. To change the payment amount, sign into "My account" and edit your Smart Pit preferences.
About Smart Pit payment activation
The first time you make a Smart Pit payment, or if you have not used your card for more than three months, you must activate your card's Smart Pit payment system.

COUPONS
Make sure the card number on the coupons matches the number of the card you wish to recharge, detached the desired number of coupons and hand them at the cash register.
To avoid making payments by mistake, please hand to the clerk only the coupons you wish to pay for.

The Brastel Card can also be recharged at authorized points throughout Japan.
Present the card to the clerk and make the payment in the desired amount (minimum of ¥500). Check the list for the closest place.

Most (re)charges will take approximately five minutes to process; however, some may take longer depending on the network conditions.

Brastel Card's access code will expire if there is no record of usage or payment for more than one year. Remaining credit cannot be refunded or transferred upon expiration.
